Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and TV personality who is best known for her role as the hosts on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl was raised in Little Rock. Sheryl is part of a clan that has had a lot of issues. She was a troubled child. childhood taking care of her older sister Frankie who suffered from polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship between her parents. Sheryl claims that in one incident her mother beat her father for being too close with her. Sheryl went into military service following her graduation from college. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992, when she became a frequent participant on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. Then in 2000 she starred as host of the TV program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on The Talk, a talk show. The Talk.
