Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny for MIA (2018), and Madonna collaborated with Maluma in the creation of Medellin. Some reggaeton artists have criticized the shift to mainstream music in 2020. But a new group, Rauw Alejandro was determined to keep the development and growth of reggaeton. The incorporation of elements from electronic dance music and various other genres was a typical method.
