
Buring was born and was raised in Sweden. She went to high school at the American British Academy in Muscat, Oman with actor and producer Stegath Dorr who was a childhood friend. At the age of 16 years old, she moved to England. Buring completed her studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2004. Buring is also the associate director of the MahWaff Theatre Company. Buring was an actor as well in the 2006 Shakespeare's Twelfth Night production performed by Exeter's Northcott Theatre Company. Along with Sara Weymouth, David Gwillim, Buring appeared in a new production, Sullied by Michael Kingsbury at London's Finborough Theatre. In the MahWaff Theatre Company she was the main character in Guardians Monologue For An Ensemble and An Investigator Calls. From March 2014 until March 2014, she is currently in the role of Strangers on a Train in London at the Gielgud Theater.
